Welcome to the 2015 Canberra Zombie Walk – a FREE event for the whole family to raise awareness for the Brain Foundation.
Even though the walk is free, all participants must register. We also ask that everyone brings at least a gold coin to donate seeing it is for a good cause!
Zombie walks have been spreading across the globe for several years, raising awareness and support for various charities, and now the infection is spreading to Canberra.
The zombie walk involves participants dressing as zombies and the undead, who then limp, shuffle and walk through the city streets and malls. The walk is purely for fun and for those who enjoy dressing up, and those with a love of brains – we are seeking to raise as much awareness and funds for the Brain Foundation.
The Canberra Zombie Walk is a FREE event for all ages as well as a family-friendly event – so feel free to bring your little monsters along!
Canberra Zombie walk will be kicking off at 3.30pm from Regatta Point before moving along Allara Street and City walk, and finishing at Garema Place. View event map.
There will also be entertainment at the end of the walk.
The dead will be rising and invading the streets of Canberra at 3.30pm 31 October 2015.
