The Nicholson Street Public School Halloween Festival takes place every year on the last weekend of October in the grounds of historic Nicholson Street school in Balmain East. We will be celebrating on Saturday 31st October from 3 – 8.30pm and the parent community of the school are promising to make it even spookier and more fun than ever.
The Halloween Festival is the only known Halloween themed fundraiser is the Inner West and is particularly aimed at 5 – 12 year olds and with over 20 years experience it gets better each year. It is a unique and fun day for children and parents alike and captures the true spirit of this small community school.
A range of side-shows have been carefully planned to keep a family well entertained and from the moment you purchase your Halloween Tickets at the front gate the children (and their parents) will be entertained for quite some time. It’s entertaining just walking around looking at all the hideously gruesome costumes the parents, students and local community members are dressed in.
The best way to get to the festival is on public transport as parking in Balmain East can be limited. Nicholson Street Public School is a 5 minute walk from Balmain East Ferry Terminal or take the 442 Bus from the city or 444 and 445 from Leichhardt and Rozelle.
